The line of interested parties in the Karoo Basin is growing: Besides Falcon Oil & Gas and a Joint Application by Sasol, Statoil ASA and Chesapeake Energy Corporation it is now Shell who today announced, they have been awarded a permit to determine the hydrocarbon potential in parts of the Karoo Basin.
